Rodrigo knew from childhood that he wanted to study art.

After dedicating many, many hours of his youth to the practice, Rodrigo began a tutorship under the well-known artist Oscar Capristo at age 13. As times began to change, so did Rodrigo’s style, and he began to branch out into another artistic career path—trading his brushes for computers and entering the world of graphic design.

Shortly after leaving the traditional forms behind, Rodrigo found himself going back to his roots. He began drawing and painting again and suddenly, a new love began to develop. In 1998, Rodrigo began tattooing in a Palermo, Buenos Aires in Argentina.

Rodrigo took to tattooing as if he had been doing it his entire life. Two short years later, in 2000, he launched his own shop, Twenty-Five Tattoo Studio. In 2006, he opened a second shop, called RedLabel Tattoo Studio, which still operates in the heart of Buenos Aires.

Since then, Rodrigo has travelled the world with his tattoo machine in hand. His work can be found in Brazil, Germany, Spain, England, and the Netherlands, capturing an essence from each country’s style of tattooing.

While an extremely versatile artist, Rodrigo favors Japanese Traditional, Old School, and Realistic Black and Grey styles of tattooing.
